Dr. Naama Maor, a lecturer in TAU's Department of History in conversation with Prof. Alberto Melloni, Lowy Distinguished Guest Professor at TAU for the academic year 2024/2025.

Prof. Melloni is a Professor of the History of Christianity at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He also holds the UNESCO Chair for Religious Pluralism and Peace at Sapienza University in Rome, and directs the Foundation for Religious Studies, based at the University of Bologna. Prof. Melloni is an internationally acclaimed scholar of Religious Studies and one of the leading historians of the Catholic Church today. His book on the history of the conclave from the first century until the present was published by Marietti in 2025.
