Our guest is the Tehran-born analyst, researcher, and musician Hanna Jahanforooz. She describes herself as ‘an Iranian cultural researcher, lecturer, and world music singer.’ She immigrated to Israel at the age of 12 following the Islamic Revolution. She holds a Master's degree in Middle Eastern and African Studies from Tel Aviv University, and frequently appears in the media and on various stages to analyze society, culture, and the status of women in Iran.
